Welcome to the B.Ed. program at Yeaqub Ali B.ed College. It is more experiential than theoretical. It involves class-room and laboratory based learning and plenty of practical insights to prepare the students for the teaching career which will be rewarding and fulfilling.

The college aims at an integral and personalized training of young men and women through Integral Pedagogy – Context, Experience, Reflection, Action and Evaluation –to be well motivated teachers who will be intellectually competent, morally upright, socially committed and spiritually inspired.

With the primary objective of meeting the long felt need of a college to create ‘teachers for next generation, Yeaqub Ali B. Ed. College is striving hard to provide quality education utilizing the latest technological aids in classroom teaching which would prepare the students to face all the unseen challenges in life and to impart proper education & training to the future teachers so that they can actively take part in the social development of the common mass.

OBJECTIVE OF OUR INSTITUTION

To prepare dedicated teachers for improvement of the school education system in the state of West Bengal and nation..
To make teachers well-equipped to teach at schools in secondary and Senior Secondary level.
To train the teachers so that they are fit on all the fronts, i.e. social, mental, physical, moral, cultural and spiritual
To help them excel in academic as well as other areas of prosperity.
To provide opportunities to enhance their competence and knowledge construction abilities in creating positive learning atmosphere in schools.
To enable teachers to understand child psychology so that teaching-learning-processes could be designed by them self accordingly.
To innovate in educational technology.
To adopt and renew the relevant techniques of teaching skill development.
To equip teachers with necessary soft skills and attitude.
